Richenda was deeply committed to peace issues. She was loyal, persevering and with the support of her husband, gave generously of her time and energy to WILPF and other peace organisations. For several years, she worked hard to keep alive what had once been an active Hampstead branch; later she co-operated with Agnes Stickings to sustain the London lunch group.
